Sand Creek Country Club was the recipient of over 6.5" of rain over a 5 day period. This resulted in flooded condition on the creek and marsh courses. When marsh 7 green went under water we took action to rent a 6" water pump to expedite the process of water removal. The heat and humidity that followed the rain was a major concern because it will "cook" the grass. The grounds crew worked long and hard hours to save almost all the turf and have the courses playing great for Labor Day weekend.
